Ron Wyatt believed he discovered the Ark of the Covenant in a cave system beneath Golgotha — the site of the crucifixion — in Jerusalem. His account describes a series of extraordinary events during his excavations in the late 1970s and 1980s. The story he tells and his wife Mary Nell Wyatt has documented is one of the most compelling and controversial claims in modern biblical archaeology.
